COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Texas A&M's Kyle Field will be filled to capacity and beyond on Saturday as the Aggies take on Alabama. Both schools are known for their intense fan base.
Attendance at the game starting at 2:30 p.m. is expected to be 88,000, more than the 82,000 capacity.
There are no hotel rooms within about a 50 mile radius and RV parking lots are full. RV owners must purchase on campus parking spots for $1,400 per year but there is about a 10 year waiting period to get a spot.
Tickets to the game between the number one (Alabama) and number six (A&M) teams are selling for hundreds, even thousands of dollars. But TAMU students will pay about $28 to attend.
They are able to purchase season tickets as part of their fee package at the start of the school year.
