WEST CHESTER, Pa. – An 18-year-old college student is getting a lot of attention online from those who think he was cheated out of a $10,000 prize.
Video on YouTube shows the West Chester University student making four shots within 25 seconds as part of a contest at a recent basketball game.
The problem is, he attempted to make five shots. While he met the challenge of making at least four shots, the school’s athletic director says the shots were made out of sequence. As per the contract signed, the teen would not get any of the prize money.
While technically correct, some say he should get the money anyway.
