CLEVELAND, Texas –  Two people were critically injured early Tuesday when a motorcycle crashed during a police chase that started in Montgomery County and ended in Liberty County.

The driver of the motorcycle, Glenn Gerald Jeane, was in critical condition at Ben Taub Hospital at last check.

The passenger, 19-year-old Victoria Parker, was also critically injured.

Neither rider was wearing a helmet.

The chase started north of New Caney when Woodbranch Village Police tried to stop the motorcycle because it didn’t have a light on its license plate.

The 25-mile chase reached speeds of more than 120 miles an hour, according to police.

The driver lost control, went airborne and jumped a ravine near Highway 59 and FM 573 near the Cleveland exit.

Police said the motorcycle was stolen from Houston.
