ASPEN, Colo. - A stunt at the X-Games did not go as planned when an Australian competitor was trying to do a back flip and he lost control of his snowmobile.

The rider fell off and landed in the snow, while the snowmobile took off on its own into the crowd. A child was hit and treated for minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Just last Thursday at the games, another snowmobile rider from North Texas was not so lucky.

Caleb Moore is still in intensive care after his snowmobile crash. He also was not able to complete a back flip and the snowmobile landed on top of him. Moore is suffering from heart and brain problems.
