HOUSTON – The world's first “football picking turkey” didn’t pick up any friends in Houston with his Thanksgiving Day game choices. Jimmy Jr. the turkey chose the Detroit Lions over the Houston Texans at an event on Tuesday. Promoters placed two helmets inside a cage, each representing a different team that plays on Thanksgiving. Each of the helmets had food on top. Whichever helmet the turkey ate from was declared the winner.
