HOUSTON – A teenager died and two others hospitalized following a single-vehicle accident in southeast Houston on Saturday.
Police said a 19-year-old man was driving his pickup southbound on El Camino Real near Reseda around 5 a.m. when he lost control and slammed into a utility pole at the intersection.
The driver died at the scene.
Police said two passengers, a 21-year-old woman and 16-year-old boy, were taken to the hospital in stable condition. They were expected to survive.
Authorities said the accident was under investigation.
