HOUSTON -- Ted Cruz, the former Solicitor General for Texas, was in Houston Tuesday meeting with voters and working the phones. Cruz, a Tea Party favorite, is running for the Republican nomination for Kay Bailey Hutchison’s U.S. Senate seat.
