HOUSTON —- An officer with the Bellaire Police Department was shot during an altercation with a suspect near a southwest Houston business, police said Monday morning. The shooting occurred just before 9 a.m. in the 5600 block of Bellaire. The crime scene also carried over into a neighboring business.
