HOUSTON -– A driver died early Wednesday after his vehicle hit a barricade while exiting the Southwest Freeway, police said. The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. as the car took the exit ramp at the W. Beltway, according to the Houston Police Department. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
