HOUSTON—A driver was taken to the hospital early Friday after crashing into a freeway guardrail in east Houston, according to Houston police.
Police said a woman was traveling northbound on the East Loop at Market around 4:30 a.m. when she lost control of her car and slammed into the metal guard rail on the right freeway shoulder.
The impact caused the rail to peel back and the car to roll over.
The driver was taken to hospital in stable condition. She sustained only minor scrapes and bruises.
