HOUSTON – It will be chilly and partly cloudy as Houstonians ring in the New Year, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
By midnight the temperatures will have dropped to 45 degrees.
“As we go into New Year’s Day, some of you may have to pop up an umbrella,” Paul said.
On New Year’s Day there’s a 30-percent chance for rain with a forecast high around 60 degrees.
Overnight temperatures will remain cold through the weekend, but in our daytime hours Saturday and Sunday we’ll be in the mid-60s.
