AUSTIN – The victim in Saturday morning’s murder-suicide involving a Kansas City Chiefs player graduated in 2009 from Anderson High School in Austin.

Kasandra M. Perkins spent a good portion of her childhood in the Dallas-area, but received her diploma from the Austin school.

The 22-year-old Perkins moved to Kansas City to be with boyfriend Jovan Belcher, a fourth-year linebacker with the Chiefs. The two had their first child together, a little baby girl named Zoey, this September.

On Perkins’ Facebook page, she has pictures of the three of them celebrating Thanksgiving as a family.

Friends and family members have been posting pictures and condolences on numerous social websites.

The Perkins family is gathering at her former home Saturday night in far East Austin. They are asking for privacy.
