HOUSTON -- The winds will slowly begin to settle Tuesday night, and temps will drop giving us a freeze into Wednesday morning, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul.
Some parts of north Texas are having a white Christmas. Areas around Dallas and Fort Worth will see between .05 - 1 inch.
In the Houston area, our Christmas Day temperatures are dropping quickly. It’ll be windy and cold Tuesday night. Wind gusts will continue into the evening. At times they reached 30-40 mph during the day. Overnight, areas will dip into the high 20s and low 30s.
The high on Wednesday is 47, and that’s with sunny skies. Looking ahead to Friday, there’s a 50 percent chance of rain showers.
It looks like we’ll have another raining holiday on New Year’s Eve into New Year’s Day.
