HOUSTON – Early morning fog will burn off as the sun comes up, leading us into a very nice Tuesday, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.

A dense fog advisory was in effect until 9 a.m. with many rural areas north and south of Houston seeing less than ¼-mile visibility.

“We are going to continue to see the clouds break apart, so by lunchtime today we’ll have partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures,” said Johnson.

The temperature around noon will be 72 degrees, but later in the afternoon we’ll top out at 79 degrees.

We will see a warming trend as Thanksgiving approaches.

There is only a slight chance of rain returning this weekend as temperatures drop back into the 60s by Saturday.
