HOUSTON -- Southeast Texas will be warm, muggy, and breezy under sunny skies on Monday, said KHOU 11 Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
Temperatures were in the upper-60s out the door in the early morning hours.
“Looking at our 24-hour temperature change, we are seven to nine degrees warmer today at this time than where we were yesterday,” said Johnson. “Looking at the high temperatures this afternoon across the State of Texas, not only 80s are in the picture, we have some 90s out west and far south.”
Closer to Houston, the high temperature will be in the low-80s.
Tuesday will also be warm with an increase in the clouds and the wind.
Wednesday brings at 40-percent chance for rain, cooling our daytime temperatures into the mid-70s for the rest of the week.
