HOUSTON – It's another beautiful day in southeast Texas with tempreatures expected to only reach the mid-70s, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“Temperatures should be about three to five degrees warmer than what we did see yesterday, so all in all, just perfect conditions out there,” said Johnson. “We’re actually still below average.”
Looking to your Halloween forecast, daytime temps will reach the low-80s, but after the sun goes down we’ll drop back into the low- to mid-60s.
Temperatures continue to climb the rest of this week, topping out at 84 degrees this weekend. Our next chance for rain comes Monday.
We’re continuing to track what's left of Sandy, which made landfall Monday evening along the New Jersey coast near Atlantic City.
