HOUSTON—A weak frontal boundary has pushed through the Houston area, cooling down the temperatures and giving us a slight chance for rain Wednesday, KHOU 11 Meteorologist Chita Johnson said.

Lows kicked off in the mid-to upper-60s and highs are expected to top off in the low- to mid-80s.
There is only a 20-percent chance for scattered showers today, but those chances increase over the next couple of days.
The extended forecast shows there is another 20-percent chance for rain Thursday, but that will jump to 60 percent on Friday.
But don’t worry, by the time we celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday, the weather will be fabulous and the skies will be clear.
