HOUSTON -- The first half of the weekend might be stormy, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist David Paul.
Clouds are thickening up late Thursday afternoon. As we move into the evening hours, you might want to grab a jacket as overnight lows will dip to the low 60’s.
There’s a 20-percent rain chance for Friday. You wake up to temperatures near 60 degrees. By noon, the temperature will rise to the mid-70’s before reaching 81 degrees by 3 p.m.
We may have a couple of thunderstorms in our area as we go into Saturday. By 5 p.m., there’s a 30-percent chance for thunderstorms. With the threat of storms, comes the possibility of strong winds and hail.
The rain clears out for Sunday, but it will be much cooler. As a cold front moves in, the high for the day is 69 degrees with a north wind of 20 mph.
High temps for next week will only be in the 60’s.
