HOUSTON – Take a coat with you to the rodeo tonight because we'll be back in the 40s by late Friday night, said KHOU 11 News Meterologist Mario Gomez.

Today’s forecast high is 59 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

Overnight into Saturday morning, we’ll dip into the upper-30s, and Saturday’s daytime temps will top out in the low-50s.

Sunday will be slightly warmer but still on the chilly side.

By Monday our daytime temps will be back in the low-70s with another cool down expected mid-next week.

There’s no chance of rain in the seven-day forecast.
