HOUSTON -- We’ll see high temps in the 60’s and lows in the 40’s for the next several days, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul. These conditions are normal for this time of year.
Most areas were at or above 60 on Thursday.
Overnight Friday, we’ll see mostly clear skies in the areas north of Houston. Temps will be above freezing in the mid-to-high 30’s.
From Houston to the coast, temperatures will be at 40 or slightly below.
For the weekend, high temps will be in the mid-60’s with sunny skies. The weekend lows will be in the 40’s.
Monday is Martin Luther King Day and it should be a beautiful holiday. The day will start out with chilly conditions in the low 40’s. By noon the temperature will reach 56 and it’ll be in the low 60’s by 3 p.m.
The extended forecast shows slight chances of rain at the end of next week. There’s a 20 percent chance of rain on Thursday and a 30 percent chance on Friday.
