HOUSTON -- Friday marks the start of a beautiful weekend for southeast Texas, but we’re already tracking our next chance for rain next week, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
Early morning temps were slightly warmer in the Houston area on Friday – in the upper-30s and low-40s. We’ll top out around 65 degrees this afternoon under sunny skies.
“It’s still cool, but this is seasonably cool,” said Johnson. “We’re starting to build really where we should be for this time of the year.”
We’ll see much of the same great weather through next Wednesday.
On Thursday our next cold front moves in bringing a 40-percent chance of rain.
