HOUSTON—Did somebody say “barbecue?” Well, the weather will be perfect Friday so get out there and enjoy a big ole’ helping of the good stuff tonight at the cook-off at Reliant! KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner says all systems are GO!

“The rodeo is getting into full swing. At 7 o’clock this evening, it will be about 70 degrees with some clouds around, but I think we’ll still see a lot of sky,” Garner said.

Friday morning kicked off with lows in the 40s but afternoon highs will warm up to the lower-70s.

Saturday and Sunday more clouds move in along with a chance for rain as daytime temps approach the upper-70s. Sunday is our best chance for rain -- 50 percent.

On Monday the temperatures drop once again as a slight chance for rain continues into Tuesday.

Next week is looking cool – with daytime temps in the mid-50s and overnight lows in the 30s once again by Wednesday.
