HOUSTON -- It may be hard to get out of bed after celebrating our Mother’s Day weekend, but the nice weather is going to be a great incentive to get you moving Monday. Despite a little humidity, it is going to be a beautiful day overall, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson said.
Monday started off nice and cool with lows in the 40s and 50s in some parts of town and the afternoon will see high temperatures in the lower-80s. The skies are looking nice and clear for now, but we may see some rain return to the forecast as the week progresses.
“We look to remain dry both today and tomorrow, but we’ve got a feed out of Mexico and later this week into Wednesday, that’s when we’re going to start to see this weak disturbance move through late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning we’re going to see the chance for scattered thunderstorms,” Johnson said.
After that, conditions will be a bit muggy as highs for the rest of the week as we begin to approach the 90-degree mark.
