HOUSTON — Tuesday will be a warm with a chance for scattered rain as a cool front approaches later in the evening, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
There’s a chance for scattered rain today with a high temp in the mid-80s.
As a cold front moves through the Houston area overnight Tuesday into Wednesday there will be a slight chance for thunderstorms.
“Winds will pick up later this afternoon, and the chance for showers will pick up as well,” said Johnson. “It’ll be spotty – I’m not expecting much accumulation. We have a better chance for widespread showers from that cold front early Wednesday.”
There’s a 40-percent chance for rain Wednesday with a “cooler” forecast high of 72 degrees.
Daytime temps remain in the mid-70s through the weekend, and a slight chance for scattered rain lasts until at least Saturday.
