HOUSTON – Expect to wake up to plenty of sunshine as Father’s Day weekend gets underway Saturday morning, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
There is a 20 percent chance of rain on Saturday with the possibility of some thunderstorms developing in the afternoon.
Saturday’s temps will peak at 96 degrees, but the heat index says it will feel like 105.
Outside of a 10 percent chance of rain, Father’s Day should be a hot and dry holiday with temps peaking at 96 and lows of 77.
“Help out dad this weekend,” Gomez said.
