Houston Forecast: Sunny skies, chilly evening

HOUSTON – NBA All-Star Weekend is off to a great start Saturday with sunny skies and cool temperatures, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.

Saturday morning temperatures were in the upper 30s. A north wind will blow throughout the day and the temperature will only reach 57 in the afternoon.

On Sunday, the morning will start with temps in the mid-30s, but conditions will rebound and it will be sunny with a high of 65.

The extended forecast calls for rain on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. There’s a 40-percent chance for showers on Monday. A thunderstorm or two is possible.
