HOUSTON -- It will start to feel more like summer in the Houston area on Friday, but there’s still a chance for spotty showers to help cool things off a little, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“We started off dry early this morning, and we’re going to continue to stay dry until probably 10 or 11 a.m. when we’ll start to see a few spotty showers,” said Johnson. “We could also see a few thunderstorms form later this afternoon.”
There’s a 30-percent chance for rain Friday with a high temperature of 94 degrees.
Saturday and Sunday the rain chance jumps to 40 percent.
The partly cloudy skies with scattered showers carry over into next week as our afternoon temperatures near 100 degrees.
