HOUSTON — Expect to see highs Monday evening in the mid-80s, which is a little more manageable than the triple-digit heat from the last few days, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
Due to the low humidity, the heat index will not be much of a concern.
The rest of this week our daytime temps will remain in the low- to mid-90s. It looks like our next chance for rain continues to get pushed back further and further, however.
Our real chance for showers may not come until after the July 4th holiday as there’s a 40-percent chance for rain on this upcoming weekend.
