HOUSTON – Expect to see pockets of rain for the Friday morning commute with an increased chance of rain as the weekend draws closer, KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul said.
Friday begins with temperatures in the mid-70s and will warm up to the 80s. There will be scattered showers and storms throughout the day on Friday with a 60 percent chance of rain. The counties north of the Houston Metro area should expect to see more heavy rains again.
As we go into Friday evening, another round of storms will move in. Then by Saturday morning, the next cluster of storms will hover over the Houston area with a 70 percent chance of rain.
There is only a 20 percent chance for showers on Sunday. The rain finally moves out on Monday.
