HOUSTON – A dry front moved through early Tuesday setting us up for nicer, cooler weather for the next several days, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
We’ll top out around 83 degrees early Tuesday afternoon before the temps start to drop.
"We're in for some proper beach weather by the weekend," said Garner. "Ahead of the front we were in the mid- to upper-80s, but behind the front we're in the 70s."
Wednesday will be even cooler with early-morning temps in the mid-50s and daytime temps in the mid-70s. Early Thursday some parts of town will be in the 40s before sunrise.
The cooler temps stick around for the start of the weekend, but early next week we’ll start to get back into the low-90s.
There’s no chance for rain in the seven-day forecast, so now is a good time to wash the car!
