HOUSTON -- A very saturated Southeast Texas could get hit with heavy rains again on Friday and Saturday, but for now it’ll be mostly sunny out.

KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner says there’s a 20-percent chance for rain Thursday with high temps in the mid-80s.

Garner says the system that dumped tropical moisture on us earlier this week and caused street flooding across Houston will swing back around. It could dump more rain on Southeast Texas starting as early as lunchtime Friday.

Friday the rain chance jumps to 60-percent and on Saturday it jumps to 70-percent.

Next week we start to dry out as our daytime temperatures hit 90 degrees for the first time in a while.

Our overnight lows will be in the low-70s for the next several days.
