HOUSTON – The rain chance drops to 10-percent this weekend, but the heat will stick around.
There will be a super-moon this weekend.
“It is when the moon is closest to the earth on its elliptical orbit,” said KHOU 11 Chief News Meteorologist David Paul.”Sometimes it makes it look a little bit brighter.”
Saturday morning temps will be 75 degrees and rise to 90 degrees by noon.
The chance for scattered showers does not follow us into next week when temps will be in the mid-90s.
