HOUSTON — Expect to see more clouds Saturday before the sun finally breaks through later this weekend, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner said.
Temps start off in the mid-40s for most of the Houston area on Saturday morning with little to no chance for rain. Highs will peak in the upper-50s in the afternoon.
The sun returns Sunday allowing for temps to reach up into the 60s. But on Monday, the daytime temperatures drop by about 10 degrees after another Canadian cold front pushes through Sunday night.
“A cold front arrives Sunday night which will result in a cooler Monday,” Garner said.
Our early-morning temperatures next week will be in the low- to mid-30s.
New Year’s Eve is looking clear, which means weather won’t get in the way of Houston-area fireworks shows.
