HOUSTON -– The Houston area will experience a light freeze Monday evening, and you should make sure you cover your plants, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.

This evening temperatures will dip back into the low-30s overnight and into Tuesday morning.

The rest of this week will remain cool with daytime temperatures in the mid- to upper-50s and overnight lows in the 30s.

The skies remain clear through Christmas, but a few clouds move in starting Thursday.

This coming weekend is looking dry with daytime temperatures in the low-60s.
