HOUSTON – It will be hot and muggy in Southeast Texas on Monday evening, but cooler temperatures and more rain are on the way, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
There's a 40-percent chance for rain and storms Monday evening.
Tuesday through Saturday the rain chance increases as daytime temps drop into the low-90s. A cold front is expected to park north of the Houston area acting as a trigger for showers to develop.
While it won't be "cool," it'll certainly be welcome relief from our "feels like" temps in the low-100s.
Sunday will be sunnier with high temps in the mid-90s and overnight temperatures in the upper-70s.
