HOUSTON – A stalled cold front will slowly bring rain to the area throughout Saturday and later Sunday, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
Scattered showers will move in from the northwest as the front makes its way through the Houston area later between 3 to 4 p.m.
There is a 40 percent chance of rain Saturday with a high of 77.
On Sunday, the cold front is expected to slow down even further and gather more tropical moisture from the Gulf leading to embedded showers with an increased 60 percent chance of rainfall.
