HOUSTON – Scattered rain showers are expected to impact the Houston area this weekend, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
Saturday morning temps will kick off in the low-70s with a 20-percent rain chance.
“A cold front will make a run at us tomorrow that will result in a few storms,” Garner said.
Saturday temps will top out in the mid-80s. It will be warm and muggy with a 50-percent chance for rain in the afternoon..
The scattered, isolated showers and warm temps continue heading into next week.
Our next break from the heat comes later next week heading into the weekend. Daytime temps should drop back into the mid-70s with mostly clear skies by Thursday.
