HOUSTON – The weekend is off to a chilly start and shows little signs of letting up Saturday afternoon, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
While temperatures for this time of the year are typically in the 70s, expect highs to get no warmer than the mid-50s this afternoon. The morning was rather chilly with temperatures in the mid-40s, but that will see warm compared to the temperatures forecasted for overnight.
Temperatures will drop down into the mid-30s late this evening and some areas north of I-10 could see some frost.
In the meantime, Saturday will have clear skies with a relatively low humidity making for a pleasant afternoon.
