HOUSTON -- Friday brought pleasant weather to southeast Texas, and it is expected to be pleasant through the weekend, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
"The weather is like a postcard, just stunning," Garner said.
Friday morning's temps were in the upper-50s across much of the area. This afternoon we topped out around 80 degrees and will be a cool 65 degrees Friday evening.
Saturday and Sunday our daytime temperatures will be in the low- to mid-70s, and cool overnight temps in the upper-40s and low-50s will continue for the next several days.
The humidity and the daytime heat return early next week with a chance for rain starting Monday. Temps next week will be in the upper-70s and low-80s.
It's fall, so it's time to "fall back!" Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed Saturday night. While you'll enjoy the extra hour on Sunday, be prepared to lose some daylight as the sun will set shortly before 6 p.m. starting next week.
