HOUSTON – Houston Dynamo defender Craig Waibel took a break from soccer Wednesday afternoon and tried his luck at football.

Waibel partnered up with Texans kicker Kris Brown to raise money for his "Bald is Beautiful" campaign, which benefits children’s cancer research. For each kick Waibel made, Brown had to donate $100 to the foundation. For every one he missed, Craig would be the one that had to pay.

Waibel made 7 of 10, including one from 63 yards out, tying his mark from last year.

"I actually kicked a lot further than I thought I would," said Waibel. "It’s amazing when you’re kicking a football how much difference the slightest wind will make."

Waibel also learned a few tricks from Texans DT Amobi Okoye, who showed the Dynamo fan favorite how to get by an offensive lineman.
