HOUSTON – Three men ran away after crashing their car into a west Houston home early Monday, police said.

According to the Houston Police Department, the crash happened around 3:30 a.m. on Bugle Road at Sands Point Drive.

Police said the suspects’ sedan went through a brick wall surrounding a patio and then hit the corner of the home’s garage. The men tried to convince the homeowner to not call police, but when he said he was going to call anyway, the men ran away on foot.

A truck was called in to tow away what was left of the car. Police said it wasn’t known if the car was reported stolen prior to the crash.

No injuries were reported.
