HOUSTON – Three people were nearly crushed by a car when it crashed into their north Houston home Friday night, deputies said.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a driver heading south on JFK lost control of their car and veered off the road before crashing into the home located near Connorvale. After the car crashed through the home, it came to a rest against a tree in the yard.
Two of the occupants in the home were taken to a local hospital in stable condition, deputies said. No were no serious injuries.
A man who lives in the home said this is not the first time that a car has crashed into his house. He explained that drivers often don’t pay attention to the change in the speed limit when it drops from 45 to 30 mph.
Deputies said they do not believe that alcohol was a factor in the accident.
