HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Investigators early Friday were still trying to determine what caused a storage facility fire in northeast Harris County.

The fire burned more than a dozen boats and recreational vehicles.

The Harris County Fire Marshal said the blaze broke out Thursday around 10:30 p.m. on Miller Road No. 2 at Red Haw Road, just south of Sheldon.

Responding firefighters found a 30-unit storage facility completely engulfed in flames.

By the time firefighters were able to contain the fire, the entire building was already destroyed along with at least 17 boats and RVs.

Fire crews from Huffman, Sheldon, and Crosby assisted with putting out the blaze.
