BAYTOWN, Texas – A Baytown woman was reunited with her English Bulldog on Tuesday after a desperate plea on KHOU 11 News for her pet back.

Patty Boyle lost two of her dogs when her neighbor’s kids forgot to close the gate to her backyard. Boyle’s dogs Tucker, a poodle, and Daisy, an English Bulldog, ran away and were missing since Saturday.

The poodle was returned to the Baytown Animal Shelter and security video showed a couple taking the bulldog back to their vehicle.

Boyle was outraged.

The couple said they didn’t want the shelter to euthanize the bulldog so they kept her. After seeing the story on KHOU 11 News, they reunited Boyle with her dog.

“Much better now that I've got my dog back and Tucker is a lot happier now that he has got his friend back too,” Boyle said.
