HOUSTON – Four vehicles were involved in a crash on the Southwest Freeway that sent four people to the hospital early Thursday morning.
It happened in the southbound lanes of the freeway near Buffalo Speedway around 2:45 a.m., according to the Houston Police Department.
Police said a Jeep lost control and hit the back of a taxi, sending both vehicles off the highway and onto the feeder road.
The driver in a blue car on the feeder road hit the brakes to avoid the crash, which then caused another car to slam into the back of it.
Four people were sent to the hospital in stable condition.
Houston police said they would question the Jeep’s driver at the hospital to see what caused the crash.
