3 children ejected from car in southeast Houston wreck

HOUSTON – Three children who were ejected from a car during a wreck in southeast Houston survived without serious injuries.

The children were thrown from the vehicle in the intersection of Highway 225 and Broadway at about 7:30 p.m.

The two 4-year-olds and an 11-year-old were reportedly not wearing seatbelts when an SUV T-boned their car.

The adults involved in the wreck were also not seriously hurt.

It wasn’t clear who ran the red light and caused the crash.
