HOUSTON – Nice fall weather will continue for the next several days, but a little heat and humidity will return to Houston by the weekend, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“We are seeing drier, cooler, and crisper air this morning,” said Johnson. “We are going to see temperatures build into the low- to mid-80s this afternoon, however.”
We’ll top out around 83 degrees Monday afternoon and 85 degrees on Tuesday.
Later this week we’ll get closer to 90 degrees with early-morning temperatures in the mid-60s as humidity returns to southeast Texas.
The skies will be mostly clear this week, and there’s no chance for rain until Sunday.
Looking to tropical weather, what’s left of Karen dissipated over the Gulf and will bring a little rain to Florida.
