JERSEY VILLAGE, Texas -- A freshman football player was taken by Life Flight to the hospital after an injury on the field.
It happened Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Jersey Village High School football field.
The Freshman Falcons hosted the Tomball High Cougars.
A young player named Bailey DuBose suffered from head trauma during the game.
Life Flight landed near the field and took the 14-year-old to Memorial Hermann Hospital.
He was conscious and alert in the helicopter and was expected to be OK.
Tomball won the game 22-19.
