HOUSTON—Houston police are searching for three suspects involved in a carjacking and shooting at a CVS store near the Galleria Tuesday night.

Two men told police they were meeting up with an old high school friend in the CVS parking lot on Westheimer at the West Loop around 9 p.m.
They said the friend was “down on his luck” and they wanted to give him a few bucks to help him out.
The men told police while they were waiting for their friend, three men pulled up in an older-model Chevy Suburban. They said one man got out of the Suburban, walked over to their Chevy HHR and shot through the passenger window.
One of the men inside the HHR was shot in the hand and both hopped out and ran for cover.
The suspect then drove away with their vehicle.
Police said the HHR was a 2007 model, with Texas license plate number BN2G923.
