HOUSTON – Detectives investigated the severe beating of a man outside a home in southwest Houston on Thursday night.
Houston police were called to a home on Castle Creek Lane at Ridgeton Drive around 8:30 p.m. after someone reported a fight.
Officers found one man critically injured, the apparent victim of a beating, police said. He was sent to Southwest Memorial Hospital in serious condition, according to the Houston Police Department.
Police said the man’s condition deteriorated overnight, so homicide detectives were called in just in case he passed away.
No further information was immediately available.
